Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director, Oncology Field Reimbursement, to lead a regional FRM team delivering compliant access and affordability support across oncology portfolios. You will recruit, develop, and coach the team, align portfolio strategy with regional execution, and partner with Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, and Legal to drive launch readiness and access outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in field reimbursement or related healthcare role.
Minimum of 3 years leading field-based teams.
Oncology/hematology experience strongly preferred.
Launch/indication expansion or territory buildout experience preferred.
Ability to navigate coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, and patient support operations.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, develop, and manage a regional Oncology FRM team.
Build, hire, onboard, and develop a portfolio-ready team with clear role expectations.
Set and reinforce expectations for field execution and compliant use of resources.
Coach FRMs through field travel, team meetings, and development plans.
Educate HCP staff and stakeholders on coverage, coding, billing, and prior authorization.
Translate portfolio strategy into regional execution plans.
Collaborate cross-functionally to define training, tools, and dashboards.
Monitor activity, capacity, and performance via analytics and reviews.
Engage key accounts to address access barriers and complex reimbursement challenges.
