Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a high-quality client experience across all locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and drive consistent performance and business results.

You’ll own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to support client outcomes and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading teams in multi-unit environments.
• Strong client-centric mindset and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and drive improvements.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible leadership.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to consistent performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and outcomes to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve business results, client acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
