Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, lead staffing and operations, and align priorities to deliver strong client outcomes and business results. This is a hands-on, travel-friendly leadership role across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years experience leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible client-centric leadership.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to reinforce accountability and performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, client interactions, and performance outcomes to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns across offices, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, operational performance, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor metrics to improve business results, client acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, labor management, compliance, and SOPs.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
