Dinsmore is seeking a Regional Office Administrator at our Pittsburgh, PA location. This role manages all administrative and HR functions, including staff, facilities, and daily office operations in our Boston, MA, and Wheeling, OH offices. The position is based in Pittsburgh, reports to the Chief Human Resource Officer, and works directly with each Office Managing Partner on operational matters.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise legal administrative assistants and other administrative staff.
  2. Ensure proper staffing, monitor workloads and overtime.
  3. Review attorney support needs and staffing goals; make recommendations for staffing adjustments.
  4. Recruit paralegals, legal administrative assistants, and other staff following HR processes.
  5. Administer the firm's evaluation process for administrative staff, in accordance with HR guidelines.
  6. Assist with employee onboarding, equipment setup, and exit processes.
  7. Conduct local orientations for new hires.
  8. Serve as the first point of contact for administrative staff issues, including counseling and corrective actions.
  9. Manage facility maintenance, security, office assignments, moves, and supplies.
  10. Collaborate with Office Managing Partners to develop and implement strategies to promote each office.
Requirements
  1. Ability to travel up to 40% without restriction.
  2. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  3. Knowledge of legal or professional service organizations; prior office management experience preferred.
  4. Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  5. Adaptability to current and future responsibilities, with willingness to expand duties.
  6. Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
  7. Efficient management of office functions.
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attorneys and staff.
  9. Leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  10. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  11. Law firm experience with HR emphasis is a plus.
  12. Membership in the Association of Legal Administrators is advantageous.
