Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide clinical leadership across Central Georgia locations including Macon and Milledgeville. This role oversees nursing practice, staffing, and coordination of patient care under applicable laws and policies. You will participate in events and ensure quality care delivery during 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. schedules. The ideal candidate has RN licensure, a BSN, and strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• BSN degree required.
• BLS certification as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager to improve nursing practice and service delivery.
• Leads teammates and promotes a healthy work environment.
• Coaches teammates; may assist with discipline including written warnings.
• Assists with interviewing and supervision of nursing staff.
• Coordinates communication and staff meetings to share information.
