American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Regional Director of Nursing to lead nursing practice and education across multiple states.

The role is remote with travel as needed and requires executive collaboration with Nursing Council, physicians, and management to advance patient care quality. The position demands a RN license, an advanced nursing degree preferred, and a strong track record in oncology nursing management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Must be an RN licensed in the state of employment with multi-state licensure.
• OCN Certification is required.
• 10 years of progressive managerial experience overseeing nursing/clinical operations; 5 years in community oncology nursing.
• Strong knowledge of medical information systems and claims processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for integration of oncology nursing practice, education, and research across regions.
• Oversee regional nursing staff and ensure adherence to AON policies and safe clinical practices.
• Collaborate with Nursing Council and physician leadership to set vision and strategic priorities.
• Develop and deliver education; assess competency; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage resources, chart audits, and care management partnerships to improve patient safety and outcomes.
