Job summary

Texas Oncology in Texas is seeking a Regional Nurse Manager (RN) to support the West Texas Region. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with travel to multiple sites and some remote days.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, BSN/MSN preferred, and oncology leadership experience. OCN certification is preferred and must be obtained within 24 months. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse.
• 3 years of oncology experience preferred.
• 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• OCN certification preferred: Required within 24 months.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical operations and practice align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with practice management on operational projects and site assessments.
• Facilitate implementation of evidence-based practices and standardized care.
• Support staffing planning, vacation, sick leave, and overtime coordination.
• Develop and oversee clinical competency testing and skills validation.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and scheduling practices.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
