Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Nurse Manager (RN) to support operations across the West Texas Region. The role is 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with travel to multiple sites and some remote days. It emphasizes leading nursing teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring high-quality cancer care.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, 5+ years of nursing, oncology and leadership experience, and CPR certification. OCN certification is preferred and required within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse.
• 3 years of oncology experience preferred.
• 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• OCN certification preferred: required within 24 months.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with practice management on operational projects such as site Quality Committees and Oncology Care Model initiatives.
• Facilitate the implementation and utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practices.
• Promote standardized best practices across the organization.
• Ensure care standards align with community expectations and integrate clinical evidence.
• Oversee staff development, staffing levels, and scheduling across the region.
