Job summary

Amgen seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead the UPLIZNA Neurology region, translating brand priorities into actionable regional strategy and execution. You will manage District Managers, build leadership capability, and drive sustainable performance through a high-performing field team.

You will collaborate across Marketing, Medical, Training, and Operations, guiding resource decisions and maintaining an enterprise mindset while traveling as needed to key conferences and customers.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s with extensive sales/commercial experience.
• At least 4 years of experience directly managing people and leading teams.
• Experience in biotech/pharma commercial environments strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional sales organization for UPLIZNA Neurology and translate brand strategy into execution.
• Develop District Managers and field teams to deliver results and drive performance.
• Synthesize data and market insights to set regional priorities and plans.
• Foster an inclusive, compliant culture aligned with Amgen values and goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Training and HR to achieve objectives.
• Travel as needed to engage customers and participate in congresses and events.
