Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) to maintain and repair automated material handling equipment at a supply chain facility. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with teams to ensure equipment availability.

You will work on conveyors, robotics, and ASRS, while following safety procedures and using handheld apps to document work orders and downtime.

Qualifications

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, encoders, and related electronics.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and root cause analysis with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE on site including conveyors, sortation, robotics or ASRS.
• Operate handheld devices to create and close Work Orders with downtime and parts used.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians and Senior Engineers to optimize equipment performance.
