Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 in Michigan to maintain, repair, and optimize automated material handling equipment across our distribution network. The role focuses on high equipment availability and rapid troubleshooting to keep the facility running smoothly.

You will collaborate with technicians and engineers, conduct preventive maintenance, follow safety protocols, and use handheld devices to log work orders and parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and automation preferred.
• Wiring diagrams and electrical testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE, conveyors, and AS/RS equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, robotics, and control circuits.
• Use mobile devices to manage and close work orders.
