Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a Maintenance Technician II to support operation, maintenance, and optimization of robotic and material handling systems in a client facility. You will perform hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and performance improvements to keep complex systems safe and reliable.

You will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, document maintenance, and collaborate with the client operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to solve problems and follow standard instructions in routine maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.
