Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) to join our supply chain facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing automated material handling equipment to keep high equipment availability.

You will work with a team of technicians and engineers to perform preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support safety and efficiency across the facility. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license for state-employed positions.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Basic PLC concepts and robotics familiarity.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical MHE on site, including conveyors, sortation, robotics, and AS/RS.
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales, and printer applicators.
• Inspect and replace belts, chains, guides, bearings, wheels, and rollers as needed.
• Calibrate and lubricate equipment; follow safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Support maintenance technicians and trainees; perform Root Cause Analysis with teams.
