Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Regional Memory Care Specialist to support communities across California with frequent travel. The role guides memory care programs, staff, and compliance, working with Traditions Directors and Executives to uphold Oakmont standards.

Requirements include dementia care experience, leadership, and the ability to train and coach directors. Travel up to 100% and a salary range of $75,000–$80,000 accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Min. 2 years as a Traditions Director or equivalent in a similar field.
• Experience with persons with dementia: at least 2 years and 1 year in management.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BA/S in gerontology, psychology, social work, or related field, or 4 years in social services.
• Ability to speak at public events.
• Must meet CA DDS dementia trainer qualifications.
• Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification.
• Pass a DOJ Criminal Background Check.
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and on-boarding of new Directors.
• Assist in re-training and coaching Traditions Directors as directed.
• Conduct Traditions Program Audits and follow-ups promptly.
• Ensure Oakmont Traditions policies are followed in all communities.
• Participate in policy and procedure development with the team.
• Assist in new community openings, including hiring and training.
• Help develop Oakmont Programming standards and related systems.
