Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Regional Memory Care Specialist to support Memory Care and Health Services programs across California with significant travel. The role partners with Directors to ensure quality resident care and programming for early memory loss through late-stage memory care.

The ideal candidate has senior living experience and the ability to train and coach Directors, implement standards, and manage program audits across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Min. 2 years as a Traditions Director or equivalent in a similar field.
• Experience with dementia care: 2+ years and 1 year in management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BA/BS in gerontology, psychology, social work, or related field, or 4 years experience in social services/residential care.
• Ability to speak at public events.
• Must meet the CA DDS minimum qualifications of a dementia trainer.
• Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification.
• Pass a DOJ Background Check.
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to adapt to change and work independently.
• Budgeting, programming cost, labor, scheduling, HR/hiring knowledge.
• Experience training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Organize and execute events.
• Collaborate with all involved in each assignment.
• Knowledge of Oakmont Programs Standards, procedures, and policies.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof or valid exemption required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new Directors and support during transition.
• Re-train and coach Traditions Directors as directed by regional leadership.
• Conduct Traditions Program Audits and follow up timely.
• Ensure compliance with Oakmont Traditions policies in all communities.
• Participate in policy and procedure development as part of a team.
• Assist in new community openings including hiring, training, and setup.
• Contribute to development of Oakmont Programming standards and policies.
