Job summary

Maine State Credit Union is seeking a Regional Member Experience Specialist at our brand-new Belfast Branch. The role focuses on welcoming members, understanding their needs, and delivering outstanding service in person, by phone, or online.

Based in Belfast, you will handle transactions accurately, engage with members to identify their needs, and connect them with the right team for specialized support. Occasional coverage at other branches is included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related experience (e.g., customer service, accuracy in cash handling).
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional appearance.
• Detailed oriented with reliable attendance. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly

We’re excited to be opening our brand-new Belfast Branch and are looking for enthusiastic, service-driven individuals to join our team as a Regional Member Experience Specialist. This role is more than just helping members with transactions, it’s about delivering a warm welcome, offering knowledgeable guidance, and ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels valued, supported, and heard.

As a Regional Member Experience Specialist based out of our new Belfast Branch, you will play an important role in creating exceptional member experiences from day one. You will be responsible for greeting and engaging members primarily in person and, when needed, through online channels or by phone to understand their needs and deliver outstanding service. You will quickly identify the purpose of each visit or inquiry, complete requested transactions with accuracy and care, and seamlessly connect members with the appropriate team member for specialized support.

In addition to supporting our Belfast Branch, this Regional MES position will provide coverage and assistance at other branch locations as needed. As a member of the team at our newest location, you will help establish a welcoming, member-focused environment that reflects our commitment to exceptional service while building relationships across the communities we serve.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, team oriented, positive thinker with a desire to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. You should have a minimum of one year related experience (e.g., customer service, accuracy in cash handling, etc.). Also required are strong interpersonal skills, professional appearance, solid work ethic, reliable attendance and an ability to be detail oriented. A high school diploma or GED is required.

The pay range for this position is $20/hr-222/hr based on experience.

This a Monday-Friday position.
