Join Town & Country Federal Credit Union as a motivated individual focused on empowering members to manage their finances. Your role will involve conducting loan interviews and underwriting loans, assisting members with account openings, and supporting the Branch Manager in employee development.

You will need three to five years of related experience and strong interpersonal skills. This position is available at one of our branches in South Portland, Portland, Scarborough, or Saco and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in joining an innovative Maine-based financial institution. You will have the chance to empower members to better manage their personal finances and help them reach their lifelong financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loan interviews, underwrite loans, review and evaluate information on loan documents to determine loan conditions meet credit union and regulatory standards, and conduct loan closings.
• Assist members with opening new accounts and miscellaneous service requests.
• Support the Branch Manager with employee development by directing, developing, and motivating branch staff.
• Conduct monthly coaching sessions to support staff with reaching individual goals.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager on employee development.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related work experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills: building relationships, resolving conflicts, and soliciting cooperation with confidentiality and discretion.

Physical Requirements

• Enter and locate information on computers.
• Present information to individuals or groups.
• Communicate effectively in person or using electronic equipment and devices.
• Create documents and reports using a computer, pen, pencil, or other recording means.
• Manipulate objects of different size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.

Location

This position is located at one of our six branches in South Portland, Portland, Scarborough, or Saco.
