Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in joining an innovative Maine-based financial institution. You will have the chance to empower members to better manage their personal finances and help them reach their lifelong financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loan interviews, underwrite loans, review and evaluate information on loan documents to determine loan conditions meet credit union and regulatory standards, and conduct loan closings.
• Assist members with opening new accounts and miscellaneous service requests.
• Support the Branch Manager with employee development by directing, developing, and motivating branch staff.
• Conduct monthly coaching sessions to support staff with reaching individual goals.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager on employee development.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related work experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills: building relationships, resolving conflicts, and soliciting cooperation with confidentiality and discretion.

Physical Requirements

• Enter and locate information on computers.
