Job summary

Merck & Co. seeks a Regional Medical Scientific Director to lead scientific exchange and education with national and regional Scientific Leaders. You will manage inquiries, provide company-approved medical information, and support investigator-initiated studies across diverse AOIs.

The role requires PhD/MD-level credentials, strong regulatory acumen, and excellent stakeholder engagement. Travel up to 50% within the US is expected.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
• Proven ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, HIPAA, and GxP guidelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engages in bidirectional scientific information exchange with national and regional SLs.
• Supports scientific exchange, research, and investigator-initiated studies.
• Leads site initiation and investigational collaboration with investigators.
• Represents the company at scientific meetings and contributes to publications.
