Merck is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director to lead scientific exchange, research collaboration, and congress support across the US territory. The role requires an advanced degree and proven experience in Hematology/Oncology and Medical Affairs.

Travel up to 50% within the region is expected. You will engage with national and regional leaders to share company-approved medical information, support investigator-initiated research, and contribute to strategic scientific goals for

Qualifications

• Doctoral or professional degree in a relevant field.
• Strong regulatory and ethical understanding in pharma.
• Experience discussing science with external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.

Responsabilités

• Engages in bidirectional scientific exchange with national/regional leaders.
• Supports research concepts, investigator-sponsored studies, and trials.
• Leads Site Initiation Visits and study site selection.
• Provides leadership in scientific congress activities and data exchange.
• Maintains knowledge of regulatory guidelines and SOPs.
