Qualifications

• Doctoral-level qualification in life sciences or medicine.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant therapeutic area experience beyond the degree.

• Excellent stakeholder management and networking.

Responsibilities

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs to ensure access to company-approved medical information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains a reliable presence with SLs.
• Addresses scientific questions and directs inquiries to appropriate resources.
• Maintains current knowledge of the scientific environment in the therapeutic area.
• Leads protocol discussions with investigators and sites; supports site initiation.
• Represents Merck at scientific meetings and congresses; facilitates data exchange.
• Gathers feedback and information to help the company understand medical needs and priorities.
