Job summary

Phoenix Contact seeks a senior Regional Master Data Management (MDM) Manager II to lead governance, quality, and strategic management of enterprise master data across regional and global operations. This role partners with data stewards, IT, and global governance to ensure data consistency and compliance across systems and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of MDM, data governance, data quality principles.
• Experience leading cross-functional data governance initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts for stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP/CRM and analytical platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake).
• Able to align regional data requirements with global strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional execution of global MDM governance strategies and standards.
• Partner with global teams to define and improve data standards and stewardship.
• Serve as SME for master data definitions, ownership models, and system-of-record strategies.
• Ensure alignment of data definitions and rules across systems and analytics environments.
• Govern enterprise data standards, including attributes, references, and deduplication rules.
• Identify and resolve complex data quality issues across multiple systems and units.
• Monitor data quality metrics and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Direct large-scale data remediation and mass updates to maintain data integrity.
• Provide governance reporting, audit support, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with architecture and IT teams on data structures and interfaces.
• Provide leadership and advanced support for MDM applications and configurations.
• Lead data readiness assessments for system implementations and transformations.
• Validate master data requirements for integrations and process improvements.
• Escalate critical cross-system data issues and coordinate resolution.
