Job summary

Lori's Gifts is seeking a Market Manager to lead multiple hospital gift shop locations, travel 50% weekly, and drive sales while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage inventories, and uphold merchandising and security standards in home and area stores.

Reports to the Market Director and oversees sales performance, team development, and adherence to Lori's Gifts procedures across markets.

Qualifications

3+ years of retail experience with 2+ years in a store management or supervisor role.
High School diploma or GED or College degree.
Experience evaluating and hiring store personnel.
Ability to travel 50% and flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple stores and teams to meet sales targets and KPIs.
Travel 50% of time to assigned stores and manage home store operations.
Hire, train, and develop store staff and onboard new team members.
Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and store hours.
Ensure merchandising plans and promotions are executed consistently.
Maintain inventory levels and protect merchandise according to security standards.
Provide exceptional customer service and guest experience across markets.
Collaborate with Market Director and area stores to achieve goals.
