Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Regional Account Director for the Northeast to ensure formulary access to Rezdiffra across regional payers. You will work with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Insights and Analytics, Patient Support and Key Account Directors, reporting to the Executive Director, Market Access Regional Accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in account management.
• Must reside in geographic area of responsibility.
• Extensive customer relationships with regional plan pharmacy and medical directors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams and rapidly changing environments.
• Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep understanding of MASH disease state, Rezdiffra clinical data and commercialization strategy and further customer engagement by providing deep insights around MASLD/NASH disease continuum and trends.
• Develop short and long-term tactical plans to optimize Rezdiffra coverage in assigned regional accounts.
• Leverage and champion core market access resources and sales planning tools.
• Enable and support MML/HEOR/Marketing team interactions with customers across the organization.
• Support National Account team to develop pull-through initiatives aligned with Area Directors.
• Collaborate with function leads to optimize business performance and manage risks.
• Engage with Patient Support to address coverage challenges and trends.
• Develop and execute Regional Access Matrix Business Plans with cross-functional leaders.
• Review formulary information monthly for internal dissemination.
• Conduct business with high compliance and integrity, per laws.
• Travel 60-80% depending on region.
