Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. in O'Fallon, IL, is seeking a full-time Regional Manager or Assistant Regional Manager for our Structural Building unit. This position requires 10+ years of experience and a PE license.

The role focuses on leading project teams, monitoring budgets and schedules, developing client relationships, and guiding staff to achieve high performance. A Civil Engineering BS is required; Structural PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (required).
• Licensed Structural Engineer (preferred).
• 10+ years of progressively senior experience in Structural Buildings.
• Experience in water and wastewater, light industrial, or energy sectors.
• Established leadership with practical and theoretical knowledge.
• Marketing/sales, business development, and proposal development experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Delivers profit within their service line.
• Monitors accounts receivable and collects unpaid invoices.
• Monitors industry trends and positions the Firm to capitalize on opportunities.
• Supervises project managers and guides projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Represents the unit to clients and cross-sell other services.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants and internal/external teams.
• Prepare contracts and supervise design work and construction drawings.
