Job summary

Aperto Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee multiple affordable housing communities in Palm Desert/Hemet, CA. You will ensure program compliance, manage budgets, and lead on-site managers to deliver high resident satisfaction and strong financial performance.

The role requires extensive experience in multifamily property management, including PBV and LIHTC exposure, with a focus on leasing, compliance, and team leadership. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily property management, with at least 3 years in a regional or supervisory role overseeing affordable housing, including PBV (Project Based Vouchers).
• 3+ years of regional management experience.
• Lease-Up experience is preferred; strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple affordable housing communities, including Section 8 and LIHTC properties, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations and tax credit requirements.
• Manage budgets for each property, including rent rolls, expenses, and capital improvement plans.
• Supervise, train, and support property managers and on-site teams, providing mentorship and fostering professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing laws, including audits and inspections.
• Act as the primary liaison between residents, staff, and government agencies.
