Aperto Property Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee multiple affordable housing communities in Palm Desert, CA. You will ensure performance, compliance with HUD and LIHTC requirements, and lead on-site teams to deliver resident satisfaction and strong financial results.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, with travel within the region and a focus on program compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily property management, with regional oversight experience.
• Experience managing PBV/Section 8 properties and LIHTC compliance.
• Strong leadership to mentor on-site teams and drive results.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple affordable housing communities.
• Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and tax credit requirements.
• Manage property budgets, rents, expenses, and CAPEX plans to meet goals.
• Supervise and develop on-site managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing laws and conduct inspections.
• Coordinate with residents, staff, and government agencies.
• Improve resident satisfaction, leasing and retention strategies.
• Prepare and submit Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance projects.
• Monitor occupancy and work with leasing teams to maximize fully leased properties.
• Analyze performance and implement efficiency improvements.
