Job summary

American Communities is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the Dallas/Plano portfolio of four apartment communities. You will lead on-site teams, drive financial performance, and ensure operational excellence across the portfolio.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to travel between properties as needed. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property management leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, financial, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
• Ability to travel between assigned properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and lead on-site teams
• Oversee budgets, financial performance, and revenue goals
• Analyze property performance and reports to identify opportunities and drive results
• Conduct regular property visits and inspections to ensure operational and policy compliance
• Develop and support effective marketing, leasing, and rent optimization strategies
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations
• Partner with corporate leadership and serve as a key liaison between the corporate office and on-site teams
• Provide guidance and support to Property Managers and site teams to achieve company goals
