Job summary

Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette is hiring a Philanthropy Officer to grow mid-level and major gifts across the Mid-Willamette Valley, North Willamette Valley, and Washington County. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on building relationships with donors, developing strategies, and expanding PPCW's philanthropic pipeline.

You will collaborate with a regional Development team, travel within the service area, and represent PPCW at community events while guiding multi-year fundraising

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 4 years of professional major gift fundraising experience.
• Ability to cultivate relationships and solicit philanthropic gifts.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management with multiple priorities.
• Able to work independently and with a team; flexible hours.
• Reliable transportation for regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level and major gift donors.
• Develop strategies to identify qualify cultivate solicit and steward donors.
• Build relationships that expand PPCW's major gifts pipeline.
• Meet donors and prospects across the region regularly.
• Represent PPCW at community, civic, philanthropic, and organizational events.
• Collaborate with leadership and volunteers on donor cultivation.
• Support multi-year and capital fundraising campaigns.
• Create donor communications, proposals, and stewardship materials.
• Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising activity.
