Job summary

PeaceHealth seeks a Philanthropy Officer to grow a major gifts and planned giving program in Oregon. You will cultivate and steward donors, manage a 75+ donor portfolio and work toward multi-million fundraising goals.

Responsibilities include moves management, donor visits, and collaboration with board members and physicians. Requires a 5+ year track record in major gifts and a CFRE is preferred. Travel and strong ethics align with PeaceHealth mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fundraising or business/communications/marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience identifying, cultivating and soliciting prospects/donors.
• Preferred: Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 75+ major gift donors and prospects and develop strategies to maximize support.
• Develop and implement moves management plans to advance donors through the lifecycle.
• Conduct face-to-face visits and meaningful interactions with major gift donors and prospects.
• Utilize donor data to track engagement and maintain accurate records.
• Engage leadership and volunteers in donor identification, cultivation and stewardship.
