Regional Maintenance Technician - Advantor Systems

This position involves providing installation services for electronic security systems, ensuring all work complies with company standards, contract requirements, laws, and regulations, while meeting revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction goals. Note: THIS POSITION REQUIRES 100% TRAVEL WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE PRIMARY REGION. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about installing and maintaining various technologies, systems, and devices related to electronic security.

Major Job Activities:

  • Conduct inventory of materials
  • Cut, bend, and install conduit
  • Demonstrate system use and provide basic user instructions to customers
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with alarm systems and networks
  • Enter data into documents, systems, and platforms
  • Install low voltage cabling and wiring
  • Mount electronic security devices on various surfaces
  • Connect devices to electronic security panels
  • Program security systems using software at the head end
  • Perform project closeout activities, including testing, documenting repairs, data entry, and updating design drawings to reflect the 'As Built' condition
  • Provide status updates to internal and external customers
  • Perform other duties as required

Material & Equipment Used:

  • Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Understanding and following safety procedures per company, project, customer, and OSHA standards
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel), Adobe, Vizio, TeamViewer, TerraTerm
  • Basic typing skills for accurate data entry

Working Environment:

  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Willing to travel 100% within and outside the primary region

Physical Activities:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver up to 100 lbs
  • Work at heights up to 50 ft using ladders or lifts
