Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to mentor on-site service teams and ensure adherence to company maintenance policies. You will present recommendations to owners and senior leadership, help develop scopes of work, manage vendor relations, and analyze properties for capital needs and budgeting.

The role involves overseeing maintenance inspections, coordinating training, budgeting support, and evaluating suppliers. Strong leadership and hands-on maintenance expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site maintenance teams in a multi-property setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance disciplines.
• Ability to develop scopes of work, manage budgets, and evaluate suppliers/services.

Responsibilities

• Conducts annual maintenance inspections to company standards and reports results to leadership.
• Track the annual Elevated Surface Inspection and ensure completion and reporting.
• Lead on-site maintenance staff in diagnosing problems and performing repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Schedule preventive and floating maintenance as applicable.
• Schedule and conduct training workshops, track registrations in LMS through close-out.
• Coordinate with DMM for training and class delivery and tracking.
• Assist RPM with annual budget process, providing subject-matter expertise for maintenance items.
• Evaluate suppliers and services on quality, service, and pricing annually.
• Assist in interviewing Service Supervisors and provide post-interview reports to the hiring manager.
• Support community and RPM with associate training, coaching and discipline.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
