Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring apartments, grounds, and common areas meet company standards. You’ll diagnose issues, repair per safety codes, and support the make-ready process for new move-ins.

Responsibilities include inspecting work, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and assisting with budgets for repairs and capital projects. On-site role requiring efficiency and safety‑driven service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Must have hand tools and safe use knowledge.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar quality.
• Inspect others' work and contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Assist with budget development for repairs and capital projects.
