Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across Southeast Dry Mix facilities. This remote role requires proximity to regional sites and leadership of capital installations, preventive maintenance, and budget governance.

Candidates should bring 5+ years of multi-site maintenance leadership (or 10 years single-site), strong CMMS knowledge, and a proven track record in safety compliance and cost control. Travel up to 65% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training required.
• 5+ years of multi-site maintenance management experience or 10 years on a single site.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets.
• Expertise in capital installation projects and large-scale facility upgrades.
• Strong CMMS and maintenance software knowledge.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, electrical and mechanical operations.
• Ability to travel up to 65%.
• Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of 480-volt three-phase equipment and NEC.
• Ability to work under extreme conditions; heights above 50 ft.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all maintenance activities for assigned regional sites, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Assist in development and administration of site maintenance budgets, controlling costs while maintaining service quality.
• Lead capital installation and improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, facility renovations, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Act as the subject matter expert for maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset performance.
• Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to extend asset life and reduce disruptions.
• Train and evaluate maintenance supervisors, technicians, and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate with operations, finance, and leadership to align maintenance strategies with goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety/building codes.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and monitor SLAs.
• Analyze maintenance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
• Respond to emergencies and develop contingency plans for critical equipment failures.
