Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations for multiple communities in the Charlotte, NC region. The role includes staff leadership, budget control, vendor negotiations, and ensuring top-tier resident service.

Travel and irregular hours may be required. Ideal candidates have extensive multi-site maintenance experience, EPA certifications, and a strong background in budgeting, safety, and Yardi Voyager.

Qualifications

• Extensive multi-site property maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I and II technician certification and Certified Pool Operator.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong budgeting and financial management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor site Maintenance Supervisors, set goals, evaluate performance, and fill gaps in coverage.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Director and leadership to ensure high customer service across portfolios.
• Assist with capital projects, budget development, and vendor negotiations.
• Identify priority projects, solicit pricing, and assist with budgets.
• Oversee disaster recovery preparedness and provide resources to teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operate within company policies.
• Manage recruitment, retention, training, and succession planning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
