Job summary

NHE, Inc. in the Charlotte, NC region seeks a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across a portfolio of communities. You will lead staff recruitment and training, manage budgets, and negotiate with vendors while delivering excellent resident service.

Weekend/holiday hours and travel may be required. Responsibilities include mentoring site Maintenance Supervisors, coordinating capital projects with the Maintenance Director and senior management, and ensuring disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Extensive multi-site property maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I & II technician certification.
• Certified Pool Operator.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws.
• Knowledge of expense control and financial management.
• Knowledge of Yardi.
• Multifamily leasing or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor site Maintenance Supervisors and ensure coverage.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Director and Senior Management.
• Assist with capital projects and budgets.
• Identify projects, solicit pricing, and assist budgets.
• Oversee capital projects and disaster recovery.
• Support area management on employee relations and succession planning.
• Perform other duties as required.
