Job summary

Office Depot is seeking a Lead Regional Maintenance Engineer to drive engineering excellence and reliability across our distribution centers and cross-docks within your assigned region.

You will partner with Supply Chain Operations to develop regional and national maintenance strategies, oversee preventive and reactive programs, manage vendor relationships, and mentor maintenance managers and teams to raise skill levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Experience with conveyors and warehouse automation is highly desirable.
• Strong Excel and Access skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional and national maintenance strategies and SOPs.
• Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lead vendor relationships and drive cost optimization.
• Mentor maintenance managers and teams to improve skills and performance.
• Manage projects and budgets, driving continuous improvement.
