Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a Maintenance Operations Director to lead regional maintenance across multiple properties. You will work with regional teams to improve planning, scheduling, and project execution, driving efficiency and quality.

The role involves contract reviews, vendor negotiations, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing processes, mentoring teams, and partnering with Owners, Asset Management, and senior leadership to optimize capital

Qualifications

• Read, write, and communicate data to team members.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and database reports.
• Read and comprehend financial statements (P&L, ledgers, budgets).
• Knowledge of federal fair housing laws and local provisions.
• 5+ years supervisory experience and 7+ years in property maintenance/renovations.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations across multiple regions and mentor Regional Maintenance Managers.
• Develop action plans with senior leadership for maintenance operations.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure safety/compliance programs are followed.
• Negotiate vendor pricing and contracts; manage capital and renovation projects.
• Plan service requests, turns, parts, inventory, and reporting.
• Oversee performance metrics, data analysis, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Owners, Asset Management, Construction Services and others.
