Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee multi-site maintenance operations in Southern California. You will lead a team of technicians and porters, manage performance, and ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with property managers and vendors, drive process improvements, and participate in hiring and onboarding to strengthen regional maintenance capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in property management maintenance or a related field.
• Proficient in AppFolio or similar Property Management Software, and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook and Teams).
• Proven leadership skills demonstrated by successfully leading a team.
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities.
• Clean driving record and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations of properties within the assigned region.
• Supervise ~10 direct reports, including timecard management, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
• Enforce policies to ensure regulatory compliance and company guidelines.
• Monitor and quality check maintenance activities for timely completion of work orders and preventive tasks.
• Serve as escalation point for stakeholders.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits for compliance and improvement.
• Perform routine work orders 40% of their time.
