Job summary

PERI is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize logistics operations across multiple California locations. The role emphasizes LEAN initiatives, leadership, and mentoring of regional teams to ensure high performance and a safety-first culture.

You will analyze KPI data, drive continuous improvements, manage annual inventory, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to align logistics with business goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong budgeting and financial planning abilities.
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional logistics teams.
• Experience with LEAN tools and continuous improvement.
• Spanish speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and set performance goals for regional logistics managers and teams.
• Analyze KPIs and implement corrective actions using LEAN methods.
• Ensure safety-first culture and efficient resource utilization.
• Oversee regional inventory and cycle counts with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Safety.
• Oversee maintenance for regional yards and forecast hiring needs.
• Develop and maintain standard operating processes for logistics.
• Provide regional and national logistics insights for policies and procedures.
