Job summary

Alamar seeks a Regional Business Manager (Northeast) in Boston to lead territory sales across Academic, Biotech, Pharma and Government accounts. You will drive commercial strategy, build deep customer relationships and collaborate with teams to accelerate market expansion.

The role is field- and home-office-based, requiring strong ownership of the sales cycle, accurate forecasting, and a passion for advancing precision proteomics through innovative biomarker measurement approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field required; MBA or similar degree desired.
• 5+ years of proven life science capital sales experience.
• Deep knowledge of biomarker discovery and life science markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop a territory and account-based sales plan for the Boston/Cambridge territory.
• Execute the plan to meet or exceed company goals in the Northeast.
• Deliver presentations on Alamar technology to customers in seminars and meetings.
• Consult customers on the value of Alamar technology for precision proteomics and customer experience.
• Partner across the company to communicate customer needs for product development and market expansion.
• Manage and drive the sales process within a complex sales environment.
• Utilize, update and manage the CRM system.
• Effectively manage and deliver an accurate forecast for the sales territory.
• Drive prospecting and develop new leads to expand the customer base and new markets.
• Support the expansion of the commercial organization as needed to meet company goals.
