Verdantas seeks a Regional Group Leader for the Delaware and Maryland teams to provide visible local leadership and coordinate operations across service lines, driving safety, accountability, and collaboration.

The role requires strong external engagement with municipal, state, and private-sector clients to support the growth of Verdantas’ MidAtlantic Division, with emphasis on transportation, municipal planning, and infrastructure markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 24+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, consulting, project management, operations, or public-sector infrastructure services.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Planner, PMP, or other relevant credential preferred.
• Delaware and/or Maryland professional registration or ability to obtain Delaware and/or Maryland registration preferred.
• Commitment to people-focused leadership, including developing staff, growing teams, coordinating office operations, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of Delaware and/or Maryland public-sector markets, municipal clients, transportation agencies, and regional infrastructure needs and trends.
• Experience supporting business development, client relationship management, proposals, and project delivery.

Responsabilités

• Provide visible local leadership for Delaware and Maryland teams with safety, accountability, teamwork, inclusion, and growth.
• Represent Verdantas externally to municipal, county, state, institutional, and private-sector clients in transportation, state and municipal government, and planning markets.
• Maintain external visibility through client meetings, industry events, professional organizations, and community engagement.
• Identify, position for, and pursue transportation, municipal, planning, environmental, and infrastructure opportunities for growth in Delaware and expansion into Maryland.
• Develop pursuit strategies, teaming approaches, and proposal positioning with leadership teams.
• Partner with leaders to support project delivery, resource planning, quality standards, and risk management.
