Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of high‑voltage substation protection and control projects.
• Serve as technical authority for protective relaying, control systems, SCADA integration, and automation.
• Develop and review protection and control engineering deliverables (schematics, wiring diagrams, relay settings, panel layouts).
• Lead power system studies, protection coordination, equipment selection, and related analyses.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, utility standards, and CDM Smith procedures.
• Mentor staff, support business growth, and manage team utilization and performance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineering (PE) license
