Remington Seeds LLC is seeking a Regional Manager for Soybean & Wheat Operations in Indianapolis, IN. You will oversee Indiana and Ohio sites, guiding Location Managers to drive safety, quality, and profitability across the region.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, collaboration with the US Soybean & Wheat Operations Manager, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Live in the region or be willing to relocate, ideally to the Indianapolis/Central Indiana area.
• Able to travel about 50% across Indiana and Ohio, with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Location Managers across the region
• Help Location Managers develop the employees at their sites
• Conduct annual performance reviews for each Location Manager
• Build a strong safety culture
• Evaluate field and plant operations and put improvements in place
• Make sure Quality Management System (QMS) procedures are implemented and followed
• Serve as the go-to resource for day-to-day operational questions from locations across the region
• Analyze profitability at each location and find ways to improve it
• Review improvement opportunities with the US Soybean & Wheat Operations Manager and carry out the resulting plans
• Contribute to annual budgets and capital expenditure planning
• Support crop planning and the placement of volumes across the region
• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers and make sure their needs are met
• Keep up with industry trends and regulatory changes and assess how they could affect the business
