Remington Seeds is seeking a Plant Operations Manager for its Ohio production facility. You will report to the Location Manager and oversee all plant activities including receiving, storage, conditioning, treatment application, packaging, re-bagging and warehousing.
You will work with the Field Operations Manager to meet quantity and quality requirements for customers. The role emphasizes safety training, staff supervision, and continuous improvement across operations.
The Plant Operations Manager reports to the Location Manager and has direct responsibility for all activities that occur within the production facility. These activities include but are not limited to the receiving, storage, conditioning, treatment application, packaging, re-bagging and warehousing operations. The Plant Operations Manager works closely with the Location Manager to ensure that all processes are conducted in a safe and cost-effective manner, and that continuous improvement occurs in all areas of responsibility. The Plant Operations Manager works closely with the Field Operations Manager in order to ensure quantity and quality requests for each customer are met.
