The role emphasizes standardizing systems, training, identifying efficiencies, and integrating performance improvement plans to support lab goals while fostering patient, physician and employee satisfaction. It also requires acting as a technical consultant and CLIA Lab Director when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science from a NAACLS accredited MT program.
• National registration or certification in concordance with current Federal and/or State Regulations. Licensure per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical consultant for Baptist clinics.
• Works with lab and clinical care team to meet training and regulatory needs.
• Implements testing and training to meet operational requirements.
• Utilizes laboratory skills to perform and report results of defined procedures.
• Assists with training of other employees under supervision.
• Responsible for assigned shifts and overtime/call back as required.
