Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Medical Technologist.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• State licensure and/or national registration or certification required per Federal/State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receives, identifies, organizes and prioritizes specimens for accurate and timely test processing.
• Performs and reports requested laboratory procedures.
• Performs quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance and inventory control.
• Evaluates positive patient identification to reduce analytical and post-analytical errors.
• Assesses, evaluates and draws appropriate conclusions.
• Evaluates technical methods and procedures.
• Executes effective and efficient Laboratory operations.
• Supports lifelong learning.
• Completes assigned goals.
