Job summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an IT Specialist to provide onsite and remote IT support for our Walworth County dealerships, based in Delavan, WI. The role involves regional travel and a mix of field-based work with company vehicle reimbursement.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks, managing Help Desk tickets, deploying IT assets, and collaborating with regional IT leadership. A 3+ year IT background and an associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a multi-site environment.
• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on IT experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Broad knowledge across IT systems (hardware, networking, security, software).
• Valid driver’s license and comfort traveling within the assigned region.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues (wired and wireless).
• Manage and resolve Help Desk tickets in a timely, professional manner.
• Deploy and maintain IT assets, workstations, and infrastructure hardware.
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices, firewalls, antivirus, and security systems.
• Perform system upgrades and software installations.
• Collaborate with end users, other IT Specialists, and regional IT leadership.
• Occasional out-of-town travel for specialized projects (maybe a few times per year).

We are currently seeking an IT Specialist to provide both onsite and remote support for our Walworth County dealerships, based out of our Delavan, WI location. This position is field-based and will use a combination of a company-issued vehicle or reimbursed mileage if a personal vehicle is used. Some overnight travel – a few days a year at most.
