Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Invoicing Specialist to oversee the accuracy and timely completion of invoicing for complex regional projects. You will collaborate with IT and other Accounting & Finance teams on invoicing systems and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities include QA audits, resolving invoicing questions, prioritizing workloads, and training staff on billing processes. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 5+ years’ experience (or 9+ years) is required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years without a degree.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, communication and technical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy and timely completion of invoicing for complex regional projects or clients.
• Support escalated invoicing and reporting activities for Finance staff.
• Coordinate workload of Regional Finance Team and assign special projects.
• Read project contracts and communicate impact on billing and revenue recognition.
• Ensure evidence of arrangement exists for revenue recognition with PM and other departments.
• Resolve invoicing status questions and follow up with operations.
• Perform QA audits and quality control on invoicing and collections.
• Provide excellent internal and external client service by maintaining a professional attitude.
