Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in Houston is seeking a Regional Intermodal Driver to perform regional over-the-road container deliveries with strong safety and professionalism. You’ll work within the Road Transport US division, maintaining consistent home time and delivering reliable service.

The role requires a CDL A, a current TWIC, 2+ years of recent CDL A experience (3+ preferred), and solid skills in load securement, route planning, and customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required and TWIC card current.
• At least 2 years of CDL A driving within the last 4 years; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in load securement, route planning, and navigating varied road conditions.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-tractor trailers on regional drayage routes.
• Comply with Hours of Service regulations and drive up to 11 hours after rest.
• Perform local pickup and delivery as assigned and back trailers to docks.
• Maintain DOT safety compliance and communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
• Coordinate loads and routing with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
