Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Regional Truck Driver to perform multi-day regional deliveries with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will back trailers, secure loads, and coordinate closely with dispatch to meet schedules.

Ideal candidates have a CDL A and 2+ years of recent CDL A experience, plus DOT qualifications and strong attention to detail. The role involves driving in various conditions and regular interaction with customers.

Qualifications

• CDL A license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years; 3+ years preferred.
• Must meet DOT qualification requirements (FMCSR 391.41).
• Experience with load securement, route planning, and navigating varied road conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills and careful handling of sensitive cargo.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-trucks for regional deliveries on multi-day runs.
• Back trailers to customer docks and ensure cargo is secured.
• Maintain compliance with DOT safety regulations and driving standards.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and communicate with customers professionally.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and address mechanical issues before driving.
